Redcurrant Glass - Handmade in Lancashire
Welcome to Redcurrant Glass

A range of contemporary kiln formed / fused glass / original artwork that is handmade in Lancashire by International  Fused /stained Glass Artist Karen Redmayne. Products and designs are influenced by the colour's and forms in nature. As every piece is handmade colour's and designs will vary from pictures, making every piece unique.
All products are available in a full range of colour's and designs. All pieces are handmade in her studio in the small village of Barrowford in Pendle. Located in the Northwest,in the heart of Lancashire.
Each piece is made using a technique known as glass fusing
( or kiln formed glass) this technique was originally developed over 3000 years ago.
Glass art has seen a revival over the last 50 years.  Only the finest quality glass and genuine dichroic glass is used in our products  and all jewellery is made using 925 sterling silver.
