A range of contemporary kiln formed / fused glass / original artwork that is handmade in Lancashire by International Glass Artist Karen Redmayne. Products and designs are influenced by the colours and forms in nature. As every piece is handmade colours and designs will vary from pictures, making every piece unique.
All products are available in a full range of colours and designs. All pieces are handmade in her studio in the small village of Barrowford in Pendle. Located in the Northwest,in the heart of Lancashire.
Each piece is made using a technique known as glass fusing ( or kiln formed glass) this technique was originally developed over 3000 years ago.
Glass art has seen a revival over the last 50 years. Only the finest quality glass and genuine dichroic glass is used in our products and all jewellery is made using 925 sterling silver.
A variety of Fused glass/kilnformed courses and Fused glass Jewellery making courses are available to book online.We also run courses in Glass Mosaic, Stained Glass,glass beadmaking and Silver jewellery making so you can come and have a go yourself. Glass/silver courses/workshops are run from my studio on a regular basis for further details see courses.
